Our Story
About Our Congregation
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church‑Missouri Synod. We gladly and joyfully believe, teach, and confess the doctrine of the evangelical Christian faith as the Holy Scriptures teach it and faithfully confessed in the Book of Concord of 1580.
Prince of Peace is a congregation in fellowship with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod – more than 6,000 like-minded Christian churches with roughly 2.6 million people in membership.
We are committed to the pure preaching of the Word and the right administration of the Holy Sacrament, teaching of all people in the Christian faith, and liturgical worship consistent with our Reformation heritage. We preach Jesus Christ crucified, risen, and reigning for the salvation of the world.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV)
