Our Story

About Our Congregation

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church‑Missouri Synod.  We gladly and joyfully believe, teach, and confess the doctrine of the evangelical Christian faith as it is taught by the Holy Scriptures and faithfully confessed in the Book of Concord of 1580.

We are currently celebrating our 28th year.  Prince of Peace is a congregation in fellowship with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod – more than 6,000 like-minded Christian churches with roughly 2.6 million people in membership.

We are committed to the pure preaching of the Word and the right administration of the Holy Sacrament, teaching of all people in the Christian faith, and liturgical worship consistent with our Reformation heritage. We preach Jesus Christ crucified, risen, and reigning for the salvation of the world.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith‑and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God‑not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:8‑10 NIV)
